usa

usa is a Milan-based architecture office, with an interdisciplinary practice working across architecture, design, scenography and research. usa embraces architecture as a spatial practice recognising each project's occasion and complexity: of economy, culture, space and beauty. usa was founded in 2021 and is led by Verde Buliani and Alexei Haddad.

Verde Buliani (Milan) RIBA I, II is an architect and designer. She has extensive professional experience in multi-residential and commercial design, interiors, scenography, and product design. Verde previously worked for John Pawson in London, overseeing projects as architecture lead for clients such as Jil Sander, REV, Shang Xia and others.

Alexei Haddad (Melbourne) MSc BEnvs is an architect and researcher. He has worked with offices including DCM, OMA, and sub, serving as architecture lead on projects for clients including Balenciaga, MUBI, and Ye. Alexei has lectured on architecture design and theory at the University of Melbourne and conducted research at Tongji University and ETH Zurich's gta & Fondazione Prada special program. He has been a guest speaker and critic at institutions such as TU Graz, University of Technology Sydney, RMIT, NABA, The University of Melbourne and Università Iuav di Venezia.
